Soundcloud Roundup 002

Back with the second in our Soundcloud roundup, where we take a look at some of the hottest tunes that have been lighting candles here @ the Manifesto Mansion over the past couple of weeks. For those of you who don't regularly follow the 'cloud, it's rapidly become one of the best forums for checking out the brand new tracks from producers & labels alike, with many artists now using as their auditioning platform of choice for their new tracks.

Enough blabbering & on with the tracks & I'm gonna start with some new techy goodness from Dustbowl.
With one successful single behind them on Lot49, next month sees their debut on U&A Recordings with another three-tracker that's already been getting the likes of Stephan Bodzin, Slam, Broombeck & Dopamine hot under the collar. Check out Tipton for starters ...

Harvey McKay has been doing some wicked techno of late, without resorting to the minimalistic cliche that the genre can sometimes descend into, and with releases racked up for the likes of Soma & Cubism, here's a guy who knows how to get some of the biggest playaz on board. This newie from him is properly savage though, and could well cross over into a number of trans-genre boxes. Which is why we love it here on the Manifesto!

Andrea Lai is a bit of a genius really. I played out with him years back at Rome's legendary 'Agatha' club, and his ability to push & pull the massive room around at will was something to behold. A musical magpie after my own heart, he's recently been working for Crookers and championing the fidge sound, but on this recent remix for Portsmouth-based newcomers, Dusted Breaks he brings back the breaks with a disgusting & twisted urban soundtrack which I saw smack a roomful of Spaniards upside their heads a month or so ago. Brutal.
