Resistance :: Lowdown and Dirty DJ Mix

Resistance (aka Craig Whittaker) started making a name for himself at club night Carry On, playing along side artists such as Krafty Kuts, Elite Force, Rennie Pilgrem, Rico Tubbs, Meat Katie and The Soul of Man to name a few. Now serving as resident at new club night Lowdown & Dirty in Manchester's brand new venue Sound Control, expect to hear a full flavour and his own edits and remixes of bass heavy electronic music whether it be Techno-Electro-Breabeat-House or anything else that takes his fancy.

Mike Hulme - "Drowned In Light” Mix [May 2010]

Mike Hulme is a true underground favourite. His '100mg' single last year on U&A became something on an anthem to the wild & wasted 5am crews the world over. At San Francisco's Lovefest, you couldn't move for DJs banging the life out of it's dark but summery vibes. Since then, Mike dipped off the radar & back into the bunker where he's been continuing to develop his perfect maxi-techno sound. His is an expertly crafted, organically snaking vision where sounds morph into one another with the kind of expert attention to detail that only comes from experience.

Elite Force Vs The Gossip - Control The Engine [320]

Here's a FREE 320 for you to complete the Revamped series and put another Weapon of Choice in your iPod / DJ Bag. This has been one of my most requested mashups since I did it a year or so ago ... it takes my own track 'Engine' as the basis and mashes it up with snippets of Mr. Oizo, several new lead elements and a big chunk of vocal from The Gossip's seminal 'Standing in the Way of Control'. To grab it, just enter your email addy in the box above (or click the link below) and you'll be sent the link almost instantly.
